Bryce@100

Reconciling with a National Crime

Bryce@100 explores the career and legacy of Dr. Peter Henderson Bryce – a Canadian public health official who fought to expose the atrocious conditions in Canada’s residential schools over 100 years ago, culminating in the publication of his pamphlet The Story of a National Crime: An Appeal for Justice to the Indians of Canada. Through the use of Two-Eyed Seeing and Curatorial Thinking, Bryce@100 will delve into subject matters such as colonialism, Canada’s reserve and residential school systems, and the evolution of public health in Canada.
